Sri Lanka have recovered from a shaky 34 for 3 to 294 for 5 in the 90 overs of play that was possible on Day 1 and Day 2 of the Second Test at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. The match is most likely to be a draw because of the poor weather conditions which has allowed at the most three sessions of play so far. Kumar Sangakkara has played a Skipper's knock of 135* from 252 balls with 16 fours and a six while putting up a big fourth wicket stand of 170 with Thilan Samaraweera, who struck a patient 80 from 170 balls with 8 fours and a six.
Express fast bowler Kemar Roach has taken three wickets for the West Indies having bowled 21 overs.
